🌱 First Steps to Survival
Survival begins with your basic needs. Every animal has two main stats to maintain: food and water. If either drops to zero, your character will quickly weaken and eventually die.
🥤 Finding Water
Water is critical and should always be prioritized.
Sources: Rivers, ponds, and lakes scattered across the map.
During rain or thunderstorms, water levels rise.
In dry seasons, some waterholes shrink or dry up.
Tip: Never wait until your thirst is critical — refill whenever you find water.
🌿 Finding Food
What you can eat depends on your diet type:
Herbivores: Grass and tree leaves.
Carnivores: Meat from hunts or carcass spawns.
Omnivores: A mix of plants, meat, and insects.
Learn your diet early. Eating the wrong type of food isn’t possible, so you must adapt to what your animal needs.
🛡️ Spawn Protection
When you first spawn, you’re shielded from attacks. A shield icon above your head shows you’re protected.
You can’t attack or be attacked.
Use this time to locate food, water, and safe ground.
✅ Summary
Step one is simple: eat and drink. Once your needs are stable, you can focus on growing, exploring, or hunting.
