🍼 Growth System Explained
Growth is one of the most important long-term mechanics. Every animal starts small and weak, but with time and survival, it develops into a powerful adult.
⏳ How Growth Works
Growth increases automatically with time spent alive.
As your growth percentage rises, your animal becomes larger, stronger, and more resilient.
Growth is tracked per character, so you never lose progress when leaving the game.
🐣 Baby to Adult Transition
Every species has baby and adult models.
At 50% growth, your animal will swap to its adult model.
Before and after this swap, your character smoothly scales in size to reflect growth.
📈 Stat Improvements
As you grow:
Health increases.
Damage output rises.
Speed & stamina improve.
Weight goes up, which affects interactions with other animals.
💀 Death & Growth Loss
When your character dies, you lose 50% of your current growth.
Example: At 80% growth, if you die, your animal will drop to 30%.
🛒 Optional Buyback
After dying, when you return to the menu, you’ll see an option to buy back your lost growth using coins.
This option disappears once you spawn in again with that character.
The buyback is optional — you can either continue at reduced growth or pay coins to restore progress.
✅ Summary
Growth makes your animal stronger simply by surviving, but dying comes with the harsh penalty of halving your progress. Choose wisely whether to rebuild naturally or spend coins to recover.
