🔒 Account & Login Issues

Sometimes issues aren’t with the game itself, but with your Roblox account. If you can’t log in, it’s usually due to password problems, 2-step verification, or account restrictions. Here’s how to handle the most common cases:


🔑 Forgotten Password or PIN

  • Use Roblox’s “Forgot Password or Username” link on the login screen.

  • Enter your email or phone number linked to the account.

  • Check your email for reset instructions (look in spam/junk if you don’t see it).

  • If you forgot your parental PIN, only the account owner (parent/guardian) can reset it via email.

Tip: Make sure you have an up-to-date email address on your account so you don’t lose access in the future.


📧 2-Step Verification Problems

2-Step Verification (2SV) protects your account but sometimes causes login issues.

  • Make sure the correct email is verified on your Roblox account.

  • If you don’t receive the code:

    • Check spam/junk folders.

    • Wait a few minutes; sometimes there’s a delay.

    • Add roblox.com to your email safe senders list.

  • If you’ve lost access to your email, you’ll need to recover it first before Roblox can help.

Tip: Enable 2SV on both email and authenticator apps for more reliable security.


🚫 Account Locked or Banned

If you get a message that your account is locked or banned:

  • Roblox bans are not under our control — they must be appealed through Roblox Support.

  • Bans can be temporary (1, 3, 7, 14 days) or permanent. The ban notice will show the reason and duration.

  • If your account is locked for suspicious activity, Roblox may ask for email verification or a captcha before you can log in again.

Tip: Always use a strong password and 2SV to reduce the chance of your account being stolen and banned due to someone else’s actions.


🧑‍💻 Other Login Issues

  • “Too many attempts” error: Wait 15–30 minutes before trying again.

  • Different device login problem: Make sure you log out of other devices before logging in again.

  • Under-13 accounts: Some features are limited for safety reasons; this isn’t a bug.
